This custom comission was a big project for a creative client who wanted a workspace tailored to them. Built from the same sustainibly harvested ash wood as my chairs, this desk and shelves highlights the live edge of the ash wood slabs, and is finished with a “lightly steamed beech” color Osmo oil to bring out the warmth of the wood.

The desktop is hand planed and checking has been fixed with custom designed butterflies in walnut. each hole in the pegboard was hand drilled to allow for compatibilty with the IKEA pegboard attachments, and is affixed to the wall behind using a sturdy french cleat system.
